I recognize that Skills Canada – Nova Scotia (SCNS) wants every representative to have an enjoyable and safe experience. I also recognize that all individuals representing Skills Canada - Nova Scotia will be expected to conduct themselves in a manner which best represents their school/ employer/ organization. To receive maximum benefit from participating, and for the safety of all participants, I acknowledge that this Code of Conduct established by SCNS must be adhered to. I note that attendance and participation at the H2O Conference at COVE, the tour at Irving, and all ancillary activities which may be organized by SCNS in advance of and while attending the experience (collectively the “Event”) is voluntary. I agree to abide by all SCNS rules and regulations or forfeit the privilege to attend and participate. In exchange for the approval of my attendance/participation at the Event I further agree to adhere to the following: • I will, at all times, respect all public and private property. • I will, under no circumstance, consume any alcoholic beverages, cannabis, or illegal drugs, while traveling with Team Nova Scotia, during the Team Nova Scotia ancillary activities and the Event • I will treat all members of this conference, SCNS volunteers, instructors, and hosts with respect and professionalism. • I will adhere to the provided safety protocols and public health recommendations. • I will adhere to the dress code as outlined in the itinerary.

I have carefully read and fully understand and agree to the terms of this Agreement outlined below:

It is not limited to the event, it also includes off times and team activities. • I will, at all times required, wear my official identification badge. • I will attend all activities with Skills Canada - Nova Scotia for which I am assigned and registered and I will be on time. • I will adhere to the dress code as outlined in the itinerary.

Violations & Penalties I acknowledge that violators of any rule, regulation or this Code of Conduct may not be permitted to continue or participate in the Event, nor participate in the future, in any SCNS activity. Violators in breech of this Code of Conduct may be sent home at their own expense. Your school and or employer will be contacted regarding this decision.

Violations & Penalties
I acknowledge that violators of any rule, regulation or this Code of Conduct may not be permitted to continue or participate in the Event, nor participate in the future, in any SCNS activity.
Violators in breech of this Code of Conduct may be sent home at their own expense. Your school and or employer will be contacted regarding this decision.
Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event, including travel to and from, extracurricular activities, accommodations and participation in certain trades will involve risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities, including but not limited to personal injury, death, illness, property loss or damage, expense and other loss due to all manner of causes including but not limited to, use of equipment, tools and/or materials related to the trade and food related illness

I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event, including travel to and from, extracurricular activities, accommodations and participation in certain trades will involve risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities, including but not limited to personal injury, death, illness, property loss or damage, expense and other loss due to all manner of causes including but not limited to, use of equipment, tools and/or materials related to the trade and food related illness

I freely accept and assume all risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities, including but not limited to personal injury, death, illness, property loss or damage, expense and other loss which may occur during or as a result of participation in the Event as outlined below:
In return for the approval of SCNS for participation in the Event, I hereby agree to give up any and all claims that I or my child may have, if signing on behalf of a competitor, have or may in the future have against SCNS, its employees, directors, officers and representatives, as a result of participation in the Event, and to release SCNS, its employees, directors, officers and representatives from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I, or the Competitor, may suffer during or as a result of participation or attendance at the Event or Team NS ancillary events.
I further agree to hold harmless and indemnify SCNS, its employees, directors, officers and representatives from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I, or the Competitor, or my next of kin, or anyone else may suffer as a result of participation or attendance at the Event or Team NS ancillary events.
