Please be advised that:

  • Skills Canada – Nova Scotia can not reimburse for the cost of Ubers and Taxis.

Travel Reimbursements

We ask that when possible Team Nova Scotia members carpool to and from the airport.

Skills Canada – Nova Scotia will reimburse Team Nova Scotia members for their mileage travelling to and from the Halifax Airport and for team members who are not staying overnight at the Airport Hotel on our return for parking. To apply for travel reimbursement please complete the linked form. Receipts are required for parking reimbursement. Please select “Skills Canada National Competition (Team NS).

It is important to continue checking your contest descriptions up until the day we leave for the Skills Canada National Competition as changes can be made up until Orientation on May 27.

Venue Information

The 2027 Skills Canada National Competition will be hosted at the BMO Centre Calgary in Stampede Park.

Lunch will be provided on both competition days. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options will be available at all buffets and clearly labelled. Celiac meals have been ordered and will also be labelled and kept separate from the buffet.
