Skilled Futures In Trades at Building Trades Advancement College (Halifax)

We are inviting students from grades 7-to-12 to join us for career exploration and a special tour of the 2026 Nova Scotia Skills Competition at the Building Trades Advancement College in Halifax on April 1, 2026. (storm date: April 7 2026)

Students will get to meet industry professionals from BTAC and will have the opportunity explore careers in Carpentry, Commercial Painting, Construction, Electrical Installation, Crane Operation, Forestry, Concrete Finishing, and Insulator.

To help provide access to students from the region we ask that schools limit registration to up to 20 students. If you would like to bring more than 20 students, please indicate the number of additional students you would like to add to the wait list.
