Intermediate Skills Challenge – Workshop at NSCC Sydney Waterfront Campus

This one-day, hands-on experience is open to Grade 8 and 9 students from Sydney and surrounding areas. Students will work in teams of two to explore green energy concepts, build a renewable-powered car, and race it down the track.

Each school may register up to five teams (a maximum of 10 students per school). Registration is first-come, first-served. In addition to the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to see the Nova Scotia Skills Competition and Career Showcase in action, giving students a real-world look at skilled trades and technology competitions.
