Only those traveling more than 250 km one-way are eligible to apply for hotel financial assistance up to $200/night. PLEASE NOTE: Due to funding rules SCNS cannot cover the cost of short term rentals (AirBnb, Verbo, ect) *Accommodations under 250 km may be approved based on contest start times and the digression of the SCNS Executive Director. A competitor must receive approval from SCNS at least 1 week prior to the competition date.

Substitute Coverage

Must be pre-approved by SCNS. Secondary level teachers only- DOE rate of $196.23/day. A separate cheque will be sent directly to your Centre for Education/ School Board to cover sub fee's. If you would like the cheque to be made out to your school please indicate in the notes below.
