Results are in!
With another sucessful year behind us, the 16th annual Nova Scotia Skills Competition has come to a close.
Throughout March and April, the Nova Scotia Skills Competition saw over 300 students and apprentices from across the province participate in 50 skilled trade and technology competitions. Bronze, silver and gold medals were awarded in each competition area. Qualifying gold medalists now advance to the Skills Canada National Competition in Vancouver as members of Team Nova Scotia, June 5-8.
Team Nova Scotia brought home 13 medals from last year’s national competition, and this year’s 47 team members have their sights set on reaching the national podium as well, with their training well underway.
